From Lab to Label: Making Science Understandable for Everyday Consumers

Katie Sanders is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist of Food Systems Communication at NC State University. Her area of research investigates emerging topics in the food system, such as agricultural biotechnology adoption, with a focus on consumer and producer perceptions and engagement strategies. Specifically, she investigates the communication of these emerging issues to diverse audiences through culturally responsive methods.
